Who is the Picky Nibbler?
picky (piki)
- adjective
informal fussy; finicky; choosy
Though “picky” could have a negative connotation* in some people’s eyes (fussy or finicky), I like to go with door #3 (choosy). And in my eyes there is absolutely nothing wrong with being choosy, for selectively picking only the very best and making very thoughtful and deliberate choices. This of course can apply to all areas of life, but this particular blog will focus on glorious food. I will only post words and pictures of delectable, extraordinary morsels whether from restaurants near and far, grocery store aisles, or recipes made in my own kitchen. Every edible thing on the blog will have been nibbled by me and passed my extremely picky standards.
* Please do not think that picky=pricey to me. I believe in high quality but that does not necessarily translate to high prices. Some of my most favorite foods in the world come at bargain prices which makes them all the more dear to me.

OMG! Your friend was right, it IS hard to find good vegetarian food at home and while traveling. Really enjoyed your suggestions for Cheesecake. The descriptions had me ready to phone in an order for curbside pick-up! I’m salivating just thinkin about the sauces you described! Can’t wait to try them. Keep the dishes coming. Do you have any ideas for South County?
Bodhi Tree here in Huntington Beach is excellent. Noodles, tasty tofu, and a
staff that waits on you like you were royalty. I LOVE it. Even if you are a confirmed
meat eater, you will have a fantastic experience here. And, they can make that
tofu taste like the best steak you’ve ever had.
Catchy blog name ;-) this information is useful and entertaining. Thank you for running with the idea. Happy bloggiity blogging!
Indian restaurants (as in India) are always good vegetarian choices. They make the most delicious dishes from almost any vegetable. They also will happily make spicey dishes mild, for those who don’t want to tempt gastrointestinal fate.
